22 x 28 – Oil on Canvas
Several of my fellow artists and I used this beautiful model and 2 of her friends to pose for the camera to be used in paintings. Her name at the time was Wanda Wiseman. Her native tribe was the Warm Springs or Klamath tribe from the Klamath River region, if I remember correctly. I posed her using the blanket for a prop. The only blanket available was of Mexican design so that is not authentic. Also several of the female artists quickly sewed up a dress for her so that is not authentic either, but she made a beautiful subject all the same. Someday, someone will correct my memory of her people and that will be fine.
